AAP lawmaker Naresh Yadav arrests by Punjab Police from Delhi
AAP MLA Naresh Yadav who continues to be booked in connection with the alleged Malerkotla sacrilege event on June 24 was detained by Punjab Police tonight.
“ AAP MLA Naresh Yadav was detained by us in Delhi from his house.
He said a team of Punjab police was dispatched to detain Yadav.
Nangal said an arrest warrant was procured to detain Yadav.
Yadav continues to be booked after among the accused under applicable parts of the IPC, Vijay Kumar, detained in connection with the event, maintained it had been done by him .
“When I’d told authorities that I was available for questioning any time then I ‘m being detained,” he said, adding that the arrest warrant was procured by authorities on the accusations of a RSS guy” that is “.
The AAP MLA twice has been challenged by Punjab Police in connection with the event.
Authorities had promised that the MLA had been met by Vijay before the event and calls were also changed between them.
The Mehrauli MLA alleged it was a “political conspiracy” to malign AAP’s picture ahead of Assembly polls and and his party have denied the charges.
